Pomme Purée
Learn to make a buttery pomme purée with Tom Cenci.

- 1kg Yukon Gold potatoes
- 250g butter
- 250ml milk
- Salt and Pepper
- Step 01: Bake the Potatoes

1KG Potatoes
Wash the Yukon Gold potatoes and place whole onto a baking tray.
Bake at 180ºC in the oven until cooked through, roughly 40 minutes.
Once cooked through take out of the oven and allow to cool slightly. - Step 02: Combine Milk and Butter

Place the butter and milk into a pan, season with salt and pepper then gently heat.
- Step 03: Make the Pomme Purée

Cut the potatoes in half and push through a sieve or potato ricer.
Gently fold in the melted butter mixture a little at a time till the desired consistency is reached and season to taste.
